It was a very sweet victory for Brunei’s Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota (DPMM) as they nailed down Harimau Muda at 5-0 on Friday night.
The effect of the match was to displace the defending champions, Tampines Rovers from enjoying the first place.
The Bruneians have netted a league-lead of 19 goals in seven games. The team have now scored 11 goals in their last two games and they have defeated the Young Lions last week with 6 goals on hand.

The only prominent chance that Harimau Muda had was at the 40th minute when Syafwan Syahlan forced Wardun Yussof into a save.
To their credit the Malaysians turned out the stronger side after the break and forced DPMM into consecutively giving in several free-kicks.
Nor Azam Azih had the best opportunity to draw one once again on the 48th minute mark of the game free-kick however, Wardun dived well to his left to save the shot.
Rodrigo Tosi made it 4-0 in the 57th minute after a roaring free-kick struck the upper left corner to top off a splendidly executed training ground routine for his seventh goal of the season.
O' Donovan bundled his sixth goal of the season in the wake of throwing a fine ball over the top from Rosmin.
The Irishman took home the cake after his stellar completion.
